Join us by taking part in this dedicated resource for all of our freelancers. We’re welcoming both seasoned members, and newcomers to the Malt community. The Freelancer Editorial Collective is another way for you to show the world what you can offer on a project, to celebrate your wins, and to reinforce your connection to the greater community of freelancers on Malt. We’re looking to foster a space for collective learning among freelancers, to share your toughest challenges and showcase your best practices.

By contributing to this new series on our Resource Center, you'll have another way to show your value to potential clients. Think of it as another feather in your cap - something to add to your Malt profile*,* LinkedIn profile, or personal portfolio.

🚀 How does it work?

Articles in this new series will be featured on Malt's Resource Center, in our Freelancer newsletter, and may also be featured on our Social Media pages (LinkedIn, Instagram).

We will accept article submissions in English, and may translate and publish the content in Malt's other languages (French, Spanish, Dutch and German). Further guidelines will be communicated to freelancers who apply to join the collective.

All article submissions will be reviewed by Malt's Marketing team. Once reviewed, we will share edited versions with you by email to review before publication. If necessary, we will also setup a call to discuss the publication together.

Your article should:

• Be project or expertise based
• Demonstrate your skills and experience
• Tell a compelling story with a clear beginning, middle, and end: incorporating a climax and explaining how you overcame a challenge in your work
• Span anywhere from 800-2000 words long
• Mention one or multiple current or previous clients or projects. Note that the client should give written to be named specifically, otherwise a generic description will suffice.
